AutoCAD is an autocadistics. Like other autocadistics software, the user interface (UI) is almost always the first, and often the only, visible manifestation of AutoCAD. It is the UI that makes users notice the software. The user interface is central to AutoCAD’s usability. To a large degree, AutoCAD’s usability is what makes it so effective.
The AutoCAD interface is mostly about how to use the software. AutoCAD is an easy-to-learn, easy-to-use, intuitive design tool. The first question you are likely to ask after installing AutoCAD is “What is the UI doing, and how do I use it?”.
AutoCAD’s UI is divided into four different areas:

The UI is created and controlled by the code that runs in the background. The code is organized into a suite of components. For example, the control area is mostly in the Control module. This invention relates to exhaust gases recirculation control of internal combustion engines, and, more particularly, to an improved control system for recirculating exhaust gases into the intake manifold for engines.
Modern automobile and light truck engines are normally provided with recirculation systems for recirculating a portion of the exhaust gases into the intake manifold of the engine to maintain combustion in the cylinders at an increased percentage of the design fuel-to-air ratio. The recirculation system usually includes an exhaust gas recirculation conduit which is connected between the exhaust manifold and the intake manifold so as to recirculate a portion of the engine exhaust gases into the intake manifold.
A typical arrangement is shown in U.S. Pat. No. 3,824,742. In the recirculation system of that patent, an inlet valve is mounted within the exhaust manifold to provide a communication path between the exhaust manifold and the exhaust gas recirculation conduit. A butterfly valve is mounted within the exhaust gas recirculation conduit to provide a communication path between the exhaust gas recirculation conduit and the intake manifold. This arrangement has the advantage that the recirculation of exhaust gases into the intake manifold is only automatically engaged when the engine is operating at substantially full throttle, and is automatically disengaged when the throttle is closed.
Other arrangements for automatically recirculating exhaust gases into the intake manifold in an engine are shown in U.S. Pat. Nos. 2,908,386, 3,763,679, and 3,831,958. A disadvantage of such arrangements is that they require external control means such as cables, levers, and/or switches which are cumbersome to operate.
